MISSION
Martin Technical, and Safety Hive a wholly owned subsidiary of Martin Technical, established the Women’s Leadership Council (WLC) in order to cultivate an environment for women within our company and industry that promotes personal and professional growth and development through mentorship, leadership, and networking. We aim to empower, retain, and recruit women in safety with the objective to further promote diversity and integrity throughout the safety industry and our company.

WLC VALUES
- Harbor an environment of empowerment by building confidence, innovation, and success with each member.
- Build respect, trust within the council allowing members to explore, exercise, and build on leadership skills and other skill sets needed to prepare for career advancement.
- Further develop a community among women that fosters personal and professional growth, knowledge-sharing, collaboration, mentorship, leadership, and networking.
- Find ways to continuously improve safety through women-led initiatives to help disrupt the industry through innovation and diversity for inclusivity.
- Include the men within our industry who will advocate the advancement of women.
CURRENT INITIATIVES
- Hope House Colorado – The WLC proudly supports this initiative. Donate today: Hope House is metro-Denver’s only resource providing free self-sufficiency programs to parenting teen moms, including Residential, High School & GED, and College & Career Programs. Additional supportive services include parenting and healthy relationships classes, an Early Learning Program, health and wellness, financial literacy, and personal growth classes as well as certified counseling, all designed to prepare them for long-term independence.
