It covers OSHA requirements, how these apply for various workplaces or job assignments, elements of a Fall Protection Program, responsibilities of equipment users, Competent and Qualified persons and the actions that a manager needs to take to assure worker safety. These include fall risk assessment, facility inspection, barrier positioning and design, methods of assuring safe work when physical barriers are not practical, selection and inspection of personal fall arrest systems, types of anchor points, provision of worker training and assessment of program compliance with OSHA and company-specific requirements.
